Poker Strategies
There are a lot of strategies one can use at any given game of poker. Whether the poker game is Texas Hold'em, Seven-Card Stud, or Omaha Hi Lo, some of these strategies are considered good or bad strategies.

BAD STRATEGIES would include: Betting way too often, always buying your blinds, and going all-in with mediocre hands.

GOOD STARTING HANDS in Texas Hold'em are: AA, KK, QQ, JJ, 1010, AK, AQ, AJ or even A10 suited. No matter what stakes you're playing at, or what kind of tournament you're in, these kind of cards are considered premium starting hands. Therefore, you should always feel comfortable with these sort of cards. A 10J may also be played, because of the straight possibilites (the nuts) this sort of hand can make.

LUCK AND STRATEGY is what's involved in any popular live poker game. There are variety of poker games available; Texas Hold'em, Seven-Card Stud and Omaha are amongst the favorites. A winning poker hand is comprised of five cards, which are held by one particular player or shared, community cards. Players then bet their hands on each round and employ both mathematics and intuitive strategies, in an effort to outplay their opponents.
